How to Cook Pancakes

STEP 1

Combine milk and egg together in a large bowl

STEP 2

Add 1 packet of pancake mix into the mixture and mix quickly until well-combined.

STEP 3

Pour batter to form pancakes of desired size. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until light brown and serve while it’s hot.

Melting Cheese Pancake

Pancake batter:

  • Pancake Mix Barley and Vegetable
  • 100ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • A little bit of oil (as needed)

Toppings:

  • 6 slices of bacon
  • 50g of shredded cheese
  • 30ml of milk
  • 5g of cornstarch
  • 2 eggs

1. Combine the Pancake Mix Barley and Vegetable with 100ml of milk and 1 egg in a bowl and mix well.

2. Grease a non-stick pan with vegetable oil over medium-high heat for a minute and pour batter to form pancakes of desired size. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until light brown.

3. Grill or pan fry the bacon and 2 eggs for toppings.

4. Separately, heat up 30ml of milk and cheese and stir well until it melts. Add the cornstarch to thicken this mixture.

5. Serve pancakes, bacon, and cheese on a plate in that order, and place the fried eggs on top.

*Makes about 4 pancakes

Fruit Pancake Tower

Pancake batter:

  • Pancake Mix Barley and Vegetable
  • 100ml milk
  • 1 egg

Toppings:

  • 200g of fresh cream
  • Any fruits of choice

1. Combine the Pancake Mix Barley and Vegetable with 100ml of milk and 1 egg in a bowl and mix well.

2. Grease a non-stick pan with vegetable oil over medium-high heat for a minute and pour batter to form pancakes of desired size. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until light brown.

3. Froth up the fresh cream, assemble your fruits and pancakes to serve.

Forest Pancakes

Pancake batter:

  • Pancake Mix Barley and Vegetable
  • 100ml milk
  • 1 egg

Toppings:

  • Half an avocado
  • 5 pieces of prosciutto
  • Add any vegetables of choice

1. Combine the Pancake Mix Barley and Vegetable with 100ml of milk and 1 egg in a bowl and mix well.

2. Grease a non-stick pan with vegetable oil over medium-high heat for a minute and pour batter to form pancakes of desired size. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until light brown.

3. Dice the avocado, roll the prosciutto into the shape of a flower and place them on your pancake stack.

4. Assemble your mixed greens around the pancake stack and serve.

Cream Cheese and Yogurt Sandiwch

Pancake batter:

  • Pancake Mix Beans and Millet
  • 90ml milk
  • 1 egg

Toppings:

  • 100g cream cheese
  • 30g yogurt
  • 1 banana

1. Combine the Pancake Mix Beans and Millet with 100ml milk and 1 egg in a bowl and mix well.

2. Grease a non-stick pan with vegetable oil over medium-high heat for a minute and pour batter to form pancakes of desired size. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until light brown.

3. To prepare the filling, cut the banana into 4 pieces and add into the mix of cream cheese and yogurt.

4. Cut the pancakes into shapes of sandwiches and add the filling in between. This sandwich is now ready!

*Makes about 4 pancakes

Taco Pancake

Pancake batter:

  • Pancake Mix Beans and Millet
  • 90ml milk
  • 1 egg

Toppings:

  • ½ onion
  • 100g minced meat
  • 2 tbsp taco sauce
  • Lettuce (shredded)
  • Mozzarella cheese and tomato slices as desired

1. Combine the Pancake Mix Beans and Millet with 100ml of milk and 1 egg in a bowl and mix well.

2. Grease a non-stick pan with vegetable oil over medium-high heat for a minute and pour batter to form pancakes of desired size. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until light brown.

3. Fry the chopped onions and minced meat until slightly cooked, add the taco sauce and cook everything through.

4. Stack your pancakes and add the taco minced meat mixture on top. Assemble the greens and tomato slices around your pancake stack. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese all around to serve.

Sweet Pancakes with Blueberries

Pancake batter:

  • Pancake Mix Beans and Millet
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 egg

Toppings:

  • Honey
  • Butter
  • Blueberries

1. Combine the Pancake Mix Beans and Millet with 100ml of milk and 1 egg in a bowl and mix well.

2. Grease a non-stick pan with vegetable oil over medium-high heat for a minute and pour batter to form pancakes of desired size. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until light brown.

3. Add a slice of butter, drizzle some honey, top it off with a handful of blueberries and viola!

*Makes about 4 pancakes

Whole Apple Pancake

Pancake batter:

  • ½ packet of Pancake Mix Barley and Vegetable
  • 50ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 apple
  • Oil (as needed)

1. Cut the apple into donut shapes. Hollow out the center and remove the seeds.

2. Cut the leftover apples into small pieces.

3. Combine ½ a packet of the Pancake Mix Barley and Vegetable with 50ml of milk and 1 egg in a bowl and mix well quickly.

4. Add in the apples (2) into the batter.

5. Grease a non-stick pan with a little vegetable oil over medium-high heat for a minute, place the donut-shaped apple, and pour batter to fill up the center.

6. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until light brown.

Spinach Corn Pancake

Pancake batter:

  • Pancake Mix Barley and Vegetable
  • 70ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 bunch of spinach
  • 30g corn
  • 4 sausages
  • Oil (as needed)

1. Blanch the spinach, squeeze out the excess water and roughly chop it. Slice the sausages.

2. Combine 1 packet of the Pancake Mix Barley and Vegetable with 70ml of milk and 1 egg in a bowl and mix quickly.

3. Separate the batter into 2 portions, add blanched spinach in one batter and the 30g of corn in the other batter.

4. Grease a non-stick pan with a little vegetable oil over medium-high heat for a minute. Pour batter to form pancakes of desired size.

5. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until light brown.
